1、Stop-motion animation（定格动画）定义：

Stop-motion animation（定格动画）是一种通过逐帧拍摄和移动物体（如模型、黏土人偶、纸偶等）来模拟连续动作的动画制作技术。每帧照片中的物体都被微调，从而在播放时产生连续运动的错觉。由于这种技术需要手工操作物体并逐帧拍摄，因此具有很强的手工感和独特的视觉效果。​

定格动画可用于电影、电视、广告和短片创作，擅长表达具有奇幻、童趣或复古风格的故事。经典的定格动画电影包括《圣诞夜惊魂》（The Nightmare Before Christmas）、《疯狂原始人》（The Croods）和《小羊肖恩》（Shaun the Sheep）。​
